Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Packer Inspector on the 1st shift (7:50am–4:00pm). You will inspect plastic products for defects, package according to specs, and ensure items are ready for shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging is preferred.
• Ability to spot defects or inconsistencies with attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift/move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications and seal properly.
• Label packages with product information and warning labels as needed.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by addressing packaging or production issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and help develop solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
