Job summary

Standard Textile is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector to identify and communicate product quality issues across inbound and outbound processes. The role emphasizes hands-on inspections, audits, and adherence to quality specifications in a textile environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, comfort with measuring tools and calculators, and the ability to quickly learn internal inspection programs. Prior QA experience and durability for physical tasks are valued.

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for identifying and communicating any problems concerning inbound and outbound product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and tests of products in an effective manner
  • Conduct daily audits of receiving, shipping and production activities
  • Ensure quality specifications are met for all products and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to use measuring tools and calculators
  • Quickly and efficiently learn internal inspection programs
  • Perform visual inspections
  • Previous quality assurance experience, required
  • Experience in textiles, preferred
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and lift at least 35 pounds consistently
  • Requires standing in one place for long periods of time
  • Produce accurate and quality work at a rapid and steady pace
