Job summary

Standard Textile Thomaston, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to identify and communicate problems related to inbound and outbound product quality.

You will perform inspections and tests, and help ensure quality standards across shipments and production. The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to use measuring tools, quick learning of internal inspection programs, and the stamina to stand for long periods while lifting up to 35 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to use measuring tools and calculators.
• Learn internal inspection programs quickly.
• Perform visual inspections.
• Previous quality assurance experience required.
• Textile experience preferred.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and lift at least 35 pounds consistently.
• Requires standing in one place for long periods.
• Produce accurate and quality work at a rapid and steady pace.
