Job summary

Standard Textile seeks a Project Manager to lead high-profile contractor projects, coordinating communications, ensuring milestones, and maintaining project profitability from start to finish. The role requires strong organizational skills, 3+ years PM experience, and willingness to travel to job sites.

The hybrid schedule includes in-office Tue-Thu with additional onsite work as needed; rapid responsiveness to consultants, customers, and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Preferred: 4-year degree.
  • Experience: 3+ PM Experience.
  • Preferred: 5+ Years Relevant Experience.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills.
  • Preferred: Ability to read plans.
  • Preferred: Bluebeam Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and reply to all communications from assigned consultants or customers.
  • Manage open order reports weekly to ensure date management protocol is followed.
  • Coordinate with installer, consultant or customer to verify field installation per specs.
  • Provide order milestones including ship dates and backorders.
  • Maintain communication with internal departments to ensure milestones are met.
  • Be available outside normal hours to address business needs.
  • Enter product orders accurately from field measures, quotes, designer specification and purchase order.
  • Organize and lead conference calls and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Travel to job sites to review scope with installers or stakeholders as needed.
  • Monitor open order KPIs weekly.
  • Acknowledge receipt to all emails within four hours.
  • Ensure all orders are entered and released for production to align with timeline and customer request.
  • Track orders with accurate dates through completion / invoicing.

Job description

The Project Manager will be the main contact for high profile or general contractor projects as assigned. The Project Manager will confidently organize and lead all project related communications to ensure all project milestones are met. The Project Manager will be responsible for project accuracy and maintaining profitability of the project from beginning to end.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and reply to all communications from assigned consultants or customers
  • Manage open order reports on a weekly basis to ensure date management protocol is followed
  • Works with installer, consultant or customer on a detailed level to ensure project is field verified and installed per specification and / or customer expectations
  • Proactively provide consultants or customers with important order milestones including ship dates and backorders
  • Maintain communication with internal departments to ensure all project related milestones are met
  • Is routinely available outside of normal business hours to address business needs
  • Responsible for accurate order entry of product based on field measures, quotes, designer specification and purchase order
  • Organizes and leads conference calls and meetings with project stakeholders
  • Travel to job sites to review scope of work with installer's or stakeholders as needed
  • KPIs Work the open order report weekly
  • Acknowledge receipt to all emails within four hours (internal and external)
  • Ensure all orders are entered and released for production to align with project timeline and customer request
  • Ensure all orders are entered with accurate dates and monitor / update as necessary through order completion / invoicing

The hybrid schedule for this role includes in-office work on Tuesdays - Thursdays, and additional onsite days may be required during the training period. Associates are expected to be in the office during this time.
