Qualifications

• 1+ years of quality inspection or equivalent training.
• Experience in welding manufacturing environment a plus.
• Experience using inspection equipment and procedures, including tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure customer specifications.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments to the appropriate department manager.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conduct tests; return products for re-work if needed.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.
• Maintain measurement equipment by following instructions and keeping it operating.
• Read blueprints and instructions to understand quality expectations.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager as required.
