Job summary

Del Medical Inc. is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure part and assembly quality across sheet metal fabrication.

You will inspect materials, in-process components, and finished products, read mechanical drawings, document results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. The role requires experience with precision measurement tools, GD&T, and a basic understanding of ISO quality systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associates preferred.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in metal fabrication/manufacturing.
• Proficient with hand-held measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication (cutting, bending, welding, finishing).
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Familiarity with quality systems, ISO standards, and basic quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic computer skills; ERP or QMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and final products for dimensional accuracy, finish quality, weld integrity, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), In-Process Inspections, and Final Inspections.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and tolerance specs (GD&T).
• Document inspection results using checklists, reports, and NCRs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or applicable standards; maintain records and traceability.
• Assist calibration of inspection equipment and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and CAPA.

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to ensure the highest standards of product quality in our sheet metal fabrication processes.
