Responsibilities

SUMMARY:The Welding Cell Inspector checks the parts for conformance to customer standards. When defects are found, they are dispositioned by the guidelines defined in the work instructions. Conforming product is packed and labeled as specified by the customer.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Check parts for conformance to customer standards using gauge, and full visual inspection of welds, parts, placement etc. in accordance with quality standards.Rack/box and labeling of frames in designated packagingEnter all audit and inspection dataCommunicate quality issues to Production Supervisor and line lead in a timely manner.Identify nonconforming material.Approve material for shipment.Stage boxes and roll packs in designated locationsPush product to designated area for pickupFill out daily inspection sheetsUnderstand and maintain audit compliance as it relates to the welding cell function. This would include: IATF, ISO, and TISAX (information security).Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the company.
