ATALYS is seeking a QA Inspector to ensure incoming, in-process, and outgoing products meet specifications. The role requires meticulous inspection, use of gauges, and accurate documentation across QMS processes in a manufacturing setting in Asheboro, NC.

Responsibilities include sampling, product audits, and generating certification records while maintaining clean, safe work areas and supporting warehouse readiness for shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Control.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and gauges.
• Knowledge of computers/software.
• Strong math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive inspection and test of raw materials, components and supplies per procedure.
• Pull product samples for testing and inspection.
• Perform product audits, visual and dimensional inspections and testing.
• Inform Quality Supervisor, QA Manager and Manufacturing Manager of any failures.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
• Generate Product Certs and ensure DHR completeness.
• Maintain inspection records with sheets, charts, and computer filing systems.
• Assist Team Members as required and perform QA data entry.
• Read and interpret part drawings and Quality Plans.
• Ensure records for each lot/product are correct and filed properly.
• Assist Warehouse by having finished product ready to ship on schedule.
• Collect, document and store product retains.

DescriptionPosition SummaryT he QA Inspector works closely with the Quality, Manufacturing and Warehouse departments to assure that all in-coming, in-process and out-going product meet specifications, are inspected on a timely basis and that documentation is correct.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceiving inspection and test of raw materials, components and supplies, per procedure.Pulls product samples for testing and inspection.Performs product audits, visual and dimensional inspections and testing using gauges and other equipment.
