Job summary

Olympic Steel in Powder Springs, GA is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. You will perform inspections, review defects, calibrate gauges, and coordinate with QA to support customer and supplier claims while upholding our safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of divisional machining processes and capabilities.
• Knowledge of divisional manufactured parts & customer base.
• Experience working with stainless steel materials and processing preferred.
• Knowledge of gage calibration systems and gage calibrations.
• High level of attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections and sort materials that are able to be re-processed
• Review defective material
• Complete calibrations and visual quality assurance assessments
• Coordinate with quality assurance team for customer and supplier claims
• Assist with quality audits
