Job summary

G.A. Rogers & Associates in Warren, NJ is seeking an Inspector for a temp-to-hire role dedicated to quality inspection of small/m mechanical parts. You will check parts against the test plan, read engineering drawings, and document results clearly to support decisions.

Hours are Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Pay is $26/hr-$30/hr DOE. PrideStaff provides medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement, holiday pay, and sick leave benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inspection experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO quality standards and Quality System Regulation.
• Experience with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Pay: $26hr-$30/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

• Check parts as per the inspection/test plan
• Document the test results and decisions according to the test plan/reaction plan
• Identifies discrepancies and proactively seeks further clarification when needed..
• Inspects component parts and assemblies against documented requirements.
• Performs visual and magnification inspection of components, ensuring that all dimensions are in accordance with specifications.
• Reads blueprints and inspects to tolerances of +/- .0001”.
• Rejects product or materials, or equipment not meeting specifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of inspection experience, ideally of small parts or mechanical parts
• Must have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• SAP Experience is a plus
• General understanding of GMP, ISO quality standards and Quality System Regulation
• Experience with Digital calipers, digital micrometer, microscope, and plating verification equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
