TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is hiring Quality Inspectors in Lafayette, IN, with a pay rate of $17/hr. This is a 2nd shift position (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM).

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector
(Including but not limited to the following)
Client Relationship & Business Development
- The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between production and the customer to ensure products meet set criteria.
Operations
- Perform quality inspections and audits on incoming materials using hand gaging and visual techniques to confirm conformance to specifications.
- Identify and contain non-conforming parts or sub-assemblies.
- Rectify non-conforming materials through rework, sorting, or scrapping as directed.
- Use methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly, and disassembly to correct issues.
- Determine necessary tools and equipment for tasks.
- Clean, grind, sand, and oil parts/sub-assemblies using hand tools or equipment.
Organization & Management
- Communicate inspection results to managers, supervisors, and production teams.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders, and sanders.
- Use of company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
