# Quality InspectorApply**Job#: 3051526****Job Description:**Quality Inspector**Location:** Fremont, California (On-site)**Contract Length:** Approximately 1 year, with potential for extensionRole OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections, checks, testing, and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. This role involves carrying out inspections for packaging lines and manufacturing, as well as sampling and testing incoming components and raw materials to ensure company standards are met. The position requires monitoring critical equipment and instrumentation.Key Responsibilities* Perform inspections of machined parts and assemblies for conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools and equipment.* Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records to support quality control procedures.* Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) upon identification of defects.* Communicate inspection results to production teams and management.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.* Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards, regulations, and safety standards.* Work with the production team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.* Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.Required Qualifications**Education:** A high school diploma or equivalent is required.**Experience:** Approximately 3 years of relevant inspection experience in a quality control role, preferably in a machine shop environment. Must be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.**Technical Skills:*** Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment.* Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).* Hands-on ZEISS CMM expertise, including developing and running Calypso programs and validating measurement results.* Solid understanding of quality control standards (ASME, ANSI) and regulations in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.Preferred Qualifications* An Associate degree in a technical field is preferred.* Quality control certifications, such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), are an advantage.Work EnvironmentThis role requires the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
