Everforth Apex in Fremont, California is seeking a Quality Inspector for an on-site, approximately 1-year contract position. You will perform inspections of machined parts, use precision measuring tools, and document results to support QC.

The role requires about 3 years in quality inspection, GD&T and ZEISS CMM Calypso experience, with ASME/ANSI standards knowledge. Lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for long periods are expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant inspection experience in quality control, preferably in a machine shop.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and ASME/ANSI standards in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • ZEISS CMM experience and Calypso programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of machined parts and assemblies for conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records to support quality control procedures.
  • Create NCRs when defects are identified.
  • Communicate inspection results to production teams and management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Work with production to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.

This role involves carrying out inspections for packaging lines and manufacturing, as well as sampling and testing incoming components and raw materials to ensure company standards are met. The position requires monitoring critical equipment and instrumentation.Key Responsibilities* Perform inspections of machined parts and assemblies for conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools and equipment.* Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records to support quality control procedures.* Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) upon identification of defects.* Communicate inspection results to production teams and management.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.* Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards, regulations, and safety standards.* Work with the production team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.* Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.Required Qualifications**Education:** A high school diploma or equivalent is required.**Experience:** Approximately 3 years of relevant inspection experience in a quality control role, preferably in a machine shop environment.
