Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor production operations, perform in-process and incoming quality inspections, and review specifications to ensure products meet standards. The role involves dimensional testing, using calipers and micrometers, and documenting findings.

The position is contract to hire, onsite in Duncanville, TX, offering a hourly pay range and benefits after conversion. You will collaborate with production teams and may train new staff while upholding quality

Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector monitors production operations and processes to ensure products meet established standards and specifications. This role reviews technical requirements, oversees in-process activities, performs detailed inspections and tests, and identifies defects in goods and materials. The Quality Inspector also supports continuous improvement by providing feedback on process efficiency, equipment accuracy, and overall product quality.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non‑climate‑controlled production environment, where you will work in close proximity to manufacturing lines, testing equipment, and inspection stations. You will regularly use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, as well as other inspection and testing equipment for dimensional and mechanical testing. The environment is fast‑paced and dynamic, requiring comfort working around machinery, materials, and active production processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duncanville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.35 - $24.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
