Baptist Health Citizens Hospital in Talladega, AL is seeking a Manager of Quality Services and Infection Prevention to lead system‑wide clinical practices and regulatory compliance. You will oversee surveillance, staff education, and policy development to align with national standards and organizational goals.

The role requires directing infection prevention programs, collaborating with nursing and medical staff, and driving performance improvement initiatives to reduce HAIs and improve patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical field; licensure in nursing, medical technology, or respiratory therapy preferably.
• 3+ years of clinical experience with quality initiatives in healthcare.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, graphics and word processing.
• Active nursing license preferred.
• CIC certification within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Leads infection prevention and quality committees across the organization.
• Develops and monitors action plans for clinical quality and infection prevention improvement.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, AHCA, OSHA, CMS, CDC).
• Educates staff on infection prevention practices and regulatory requirements.
• Drives data analytics to inform infection prevention strategies.
