Coral Gables Hospital is seeking a Manager of Quality/Infection Control RN to lead the hospital's infection prevention program and quality assurance efforts. You will coordinate surveillance, policy enforcement, and regulatory compliance while guiding multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and care standards.
The role requires a nursing degree, state licensure, CIC certification within two years, and at least two years in quality leadership plus five years clinical experience.
The Manager of Quality/Infection Control RN directs and coordinates the infection control program in the hospital. The designated person will be given the opportunity to implement and enforce the surveillance, prevention and control program policies, coordinate all infection prevention and control within the hospital and facilitate ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of prevention and/or control activities and interventions. While simultaneously being responsible for the direction of the Quality Assurance Department. Assures that the facility provides high quality, cost effective medical care service to its patients. Assures that the facility is compliant with the regulations of all Federal, State, local, and other regulatory bodies with jurisdiction over its clinical activities.
