Job summary

Dungarvin offers person-centered supports to help people live as independently as possible. You will work directly with individuals who need assistance, including those with intellectual or developmental disabilities or complex medical needs.

This role requires travel around Austin and South Austin weekly, with quarterly trips to San Angelo and Big Spring. Starting pay is $50,900 yearly, and the company provides benefits, PTO, training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Human Services field, with at least two years in quality assurance
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build, review, and interpret complex data
  • Must be responsible, mature, flexible and have good decision-making, time management and communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm *Must have flexibility

Starting Pay: $50,900 yearly

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

TheQuality Improvement Specialistmust be knowledgeable and up to date on rules and regulations affecting their assigned programs, and must work closely with and maintainexcellent communication with the Program Director, Area director and State Director as part of a team approach to providing seamless quality service.The QIS works in the regional or area office and is expected to travel between programs, visiting each assigned program at least once per year or as directed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:

  • Assisting with completing incident reports/investigations
  • Site reviews/audits to ensure compliance
  • Running reports to ensure completion of medication/documentation
  • Recommend areas of improvement and follow up
  • Training in various areas in relation to compliance/regulations
Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Human Services field, with at least two years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build, review, and interpret complex data.
  • Must be responsible, mature, flexible and have good decision-making time management and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and consistent access to a vehicle is required
  • A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to a diverse audience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IDD Supports, such as HIPAA, Licensing Requirements, and Person-Centered Service Provision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
