Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center seeks a Quality Assurance RN (1.0 FTE) for day shifts, weekdays and weekends, to lead quality initiatives across Oregon region. The role includes concurrent and retrospective support, ensuring CMS and Joint Commission compliance, and collaborating with physician leadership and hospital management.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Nursing, Oregon RN license, and at least five years of clinical and hospital experience, with demonstrated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • 5 years of clinical experience.
  • 5 years of hospital experience in progressively responsible positions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience communicating effectively with physicians, nursing, public, and hospital management.

Responsibilities

  • Provides assessment, evaluation and support for quality initiatives.
  • Supports CMS and TJC compliance and accreditation requirements.
  • Leads multidisciplinary quality improvement projects and performance improvement activities.
  • Acts as a resource and mentor for Quality Improvement activities and peer review.
