Job summary

DePelchin Family Services in Houston, TX seeks a Manager, Quality Improvement & Risk Management to lead organizational risk prevention, assessment, and continuous quality improvement across DePelchin Children’s Center and Texans Together.

This role partners with organizational leadership to identify risks, analyze incidents and trends, conduct root cause analyses, and develop effective corrective and preventive action strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services, behavioral health, quality management, risk management or related field.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, quality improvement, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk prevention and management activities for DCC and TTG.
• Facilitate RPM committee meetings and follow-up on action items.
• Identify operational, clinical, regulatory, contractual, reputational, and financial risks.
• Develop processes for tracking risks, mitigation, and follow-up.
• Conduct or facilitate structured risk assessments and root cause analyses.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor risk indicators across DCC and TTG.
• Provide training and consultation on risk management principles and tools.
