Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital, part of AHMC Healthcare Inc., seeks a Full-Time Quality Improvement Manager to lead quality, safety and risk management across the hospital. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is not remote.

You will oversee FPPE/OPPE, drive performance improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate staff education and training to maintain clinical standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• BS degree in related field or CA RN license.
• 2 years supervisory/management experience in healthcare.
• Quality management experience or 3 years clinical experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, safety, and risk management operations hospital-wide.
• Manage FPPE, OPPE, and medical staff peer review activities to maintain provider competence and clinical standards.
• Lead cross-functional Performance Improvement teams to achieve patient safety and operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and external reporting requirements (TJC Core Measures, Leapfrog, eCQMs, CMS initiatives).
• Provide ongoing staff education and training on quality protocols.
