Job summary

MercyFirst seeks a QI Coordinator to monitor regulatory and funding compliance across assigned programs and drive performance improvements. You will analyze data, prepare reports, and work with staff to implement corrective actions.

The role requires oversight of safety and quality processes, strong knowledge of child welfare regulations, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in health, public health, policy or related field.
• Experience in child welfare, refugee services or related programs preferred.
• Strong analytic and critical thinking abilities with good written and oral communication.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and able to learn NYS data systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist programs in monitoring compliance with federal, state and local codes and accrediting standards.
• Master and stay current with regulations for assigned programs.
• Conduct case record reviews and prepare quarterly and annual reports with trend analysis.
• Oversee safety activities including facility inspections, incident tracking and investigations.
