About the Role:

As an RN Quality Improvement Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in enhancing hospital-wide care quality. This position allows you to drive change, implement evidence-based practices, and collaborate with clinical teams to improve standards. It’s a career pivot from traditional bedside nursing to a leadership role impacting systems, processes, and patient outcomes. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote continuous quality improvement and ensure exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze trends and develop action plans to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders, department heads, physicians, and clinical teams.
  • Educate and mentor staff on best practices and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in Virginia (or a compact state).
  • BSN required.
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Preferred experience in Emergency or Surgical Services.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Project Management knowledge/skills.
