Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to provide clerical and data support for the quality improvement program from our Fresno, CA office. You will assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting while helping design dynamic presentation materials for Quality Improvement Committees.

The role requires coordinating meetings, training staff on quality measures, and tracking improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• AS/AS or equivalent required.
• Degree/certification in healthcare related field preferred (e.g., BS in Health Education, Medical Assistant certification).
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Interprets performance improvement data and explains it to staff and management.
• Coordinate, tabulate and analyze performance data from a clinical perspective; prepare and distribute reports to Quality Improvement Committees.
• Educate and train staff on the quality improvement plan and measures.
• Responsible for provider tracking and enrollments into quality programs.
• Coordinate and record-keeping of Quality Improvement Committee meetings.
• Assist in general clerical/office duties and reporting on health center projects.
• Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives with the QA team.
