Job summary

United Health Centers seeks a Quality Improvement Specialist to support the Quality Improvement Department in Fresno, CA. The role involves clerical and analytical duties, data collection, audits, and creating presentations to communicate outcomes.

You will coordinate meetings, maintain records, and track improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related healthcare field.
• AS/AS or equivalent required.
• Degree/certification in healthcare-related field preferred (e.g., BS in Health Education, Medical Assistant certification).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Interprets performance improvement data and explains results to staff and management.
• Coordinate, tabulate and analyze performance improvement data and prepare/ distribute reports to Quality Improvement Committees.
• Assist in educating and training UHC staff on the quality improvement plan and measures.
• Coordinate and record-keeping for Quality Improvement Committee meetings.
• Assist in general clerical/office duties and reporting on specific health center projects.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable rules and procedures governing UHC programs.
