Job summary

East Valley Community Health Center Inc. is seeking a Quality Improvement (QI) Analyst to support CQI/QA programs through data analytics, reporting, and interpretation to guide improvement priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and scorecards to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Collects, audits, analyzes, and reports on clinical, operational, and patient experience data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support QI Specialists and care teams by providing timely, accurate data for PDSA cycles and improvement projects.
• Report data findings to appropriate staff and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for frontline teams and leadership.
• Support PCMH reporting and performance monitoring requirements.
• Assist with HRSA, UDS, and health plan quality reporting and validation.
• Conduct data validation, chart audits, and measure logic reviews to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare materials for Quality Committees, audits, and HRSA OSVs; create clear summaries and gap analyses.
• Collaborate with IT, EHR, and operations teams to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency.
• Sustainment of training on key QI initiatives/projects via timely communication and training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Quality Improvement (QI) Analyst supports East Valley Community Health Center’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Quality Assurance (QA) program by providing analytic, reporting, and data interpretation support for quality improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with QI leadership, QI Specialists, and care teams to build, analyze, and interpret data that informs improvement priorities, supports Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) activities, and ensures compliance with HRSA and health plan quality requirements.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and scorecards to support QI initiatives.
• Collects, audits, analyzes, and reports on clinical, operational, and patient experience data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support QI Specialists and care teams by providing timely, accurate data for PDSA cycles and improvement projects.
• Report data findings to appropriate staff. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for frontline teams and leadership.
• Support PCMH reporting and performance monitoring requirements.
• Assist with HRSA, UDS, and health plan quality reporting and validation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field OR high school diploma and minimum 5 years of experience in related field.

• Ability to organize, analyze and synthesize complex data from various sources.
• Able to understand and interpret financial statements.
• Ability to evaluate process improvement projects and initiatives across the organization.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the organization’s needs/demands.
• FQHC experience is a must. A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administration experience in the health care industry, preferably serving underserved populations.
• Thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of organizational management, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, write/speak succinctly.

• Work requires long periods of sitting, reaching, speaking, hearing, seeing and ability to articulate clearly, use of hands to finger, reaching with hands and arms.

• Travel to and from clinic or meeting sites within geographic service area.
• Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for easy and skillful use of hands when working with and performing normal office duties and responsibilities.

DOE: $27.00 - $31.88
