Job summary

NEW Health Administration in Chewelah, WA is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to support the QI Manager in implementing and managing quality initiatives. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing quality metrics, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with best practices.

You will design and evaluate projects, monitor progress, participate in audits, train staff, and collaborate with healthcare providers and administrators. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Improvement within a healthcare setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Public Health, Social Work, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, analyze, and provide reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist the QI Manager with designing, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement projects.
• Monitor the progress of quality improvement initiatives and provide regular updates to the QI Manager.
• Participate in internal and external audits to prepare necessary documentation.
• Support the development and revision of policies and procedures to align with best practices.
• Conduct training sessions for staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assist the QI Manager with the development and implementation of risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Collaborate with peers to create and monitor QI registries/dashboards.
• Work closely with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to promote quality improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Purpose of Job:
