Job summary

Stellantis Auburn Hills is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Engineer to lead quality improvement efforts across vehicle programs. You will analyze customer claims, support robust action plans and ensure alignment with TOP HAT quality processes.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to drive issues to resolution. The role requires a strong background in electrical vehicle architecture and experience with DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical automotive engineering.
• Experience with STLA tools: PLM, Quantic, Lesson Learned, Bulletin, Team Center, Enovia.
• Strong teamwork, project management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review projects and analyze customer claims to define robust action plans.
• Perform technical deep dives using data-driven approaches to solve quality issues.
• Develop and drive cost-efficient repair strategies and effective corrective actions.
• Align with Quality Manager on status, tracking, and deliverables; ensure adherence to Q processes.

Job description

Main Mission

Deliver and consolidate EE Quality, contributing strongly to Quality issue resolution and robust Vehicle launches; Improve Quality Standard, Quality Design Process and grant expected application.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Project review
• Analyze "customer claim"
• Technical detail deep dive, with approach based on facts and figures, stimulating the rigorous problem solving approach
• Drive the most effective and efficient technical solution, with the most optimized cost repair cycle
• Guarantee a robust action plan, without deviations
• Be always align with TOP HAT Quality Manager (Quality status, Issue tracking, Deliverables achievement)
• Improve and assess the following Q Processes: DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Risk Management. Drive proactively lessons-learned activities.
• Grant Lesson Learned and Best Practice definition and improvement, ensure application in current and future programs
• Promote the adoption of best practices, standard templates and harmonized documentation approaches.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in areas such as: Electrical Engineering technical automotive background with knowledge of Electrical vehicle architecture, Electrical System/Subsystem, Electrical Component requirements.
• Ability to work using different STLA tools: PLM, Quantic, Lesson Learned, Bulletin, Team Center, Enovia
• Team working skill, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Project management skills
• Problem Solving and Issue Management skill
• Accountability, proactivity, autonomy, target orientation, problem solving
• Good communication / presentation skills (written and spoken)
