Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an experienced Electrical/Computer Engineering professional to drive EE Quality across vehicle launches. You will analyze customer claims, review projects, and lead robust action plans with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering, automotive EE background, and proficiency with PLM, Quantic, and Enovia; strong problem solving, communication, and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in automotive or related field.
  • Strong EE automotive background with knowledge of vehicle architecture and subsystem requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with STLA tools a plus.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and consolidate EE Quality, contributing to issue resolution and robust vehicle launches.
  • Improve Quality Standard, Quality Design Process and ensure compliant application.
  • Lead and participate in Q Processes such as DFMEA, APQP, PPAP and Risk Management.
  • Drive effective technical solutions with optimized cost repair cycles.
  • Ensure robust action plans with no deviations and timely deliverables.
  • Collaborate with TOP HAT Quality Manager on status, tracking, and documentation.

Job description

Main Mission

  • Deliver and consolidate EE Quality, contributing strongly to Quality issue resolution and robust Vehicle launches
  • Improve Quality Standard, Quality Design Process and grant expected application
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Project review animations
  • Analyze "customer claim"
  • Technical detail deep dive, with approach based on facts and figures, stimulating the rigorous problem solving approach
  • Drive the most effective and efficient technical solution, with the most optimized cost repair cycle
  • Guarantee a robust action plan, without deviations
  • Be always aligned with TOP HAT Quality Manager (Quality status, Issue tracking, Deliverables achievement)
  • Improve and assess the following Q Processes: DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Risk Management
  • Drive proactively lessons-learned activities.
  • Grant Lesson Learned and Best Practice definition and improvement, ensure application in current and future programs
  • Promote the adoption of best practices, standard templates and harmonized documentation approaches.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • EE technical automotive background with knowledge of EE vehicle architecture, EE System/Subsystem, EE Component requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to work using different STLA tools: PLM, Quantic, Lesson Learned, Bulletin, Team Center, Enovia
  • Team working skill, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills
  • Problem Solving and Issue Management skill
  • Accountability, proactivity, autonomy, target orientation, problem solving
  • Good communication / presentation skills (written and spoken)
