Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn, AL seeks an experienced electrical engineering professional to lead EE quality initiatives and drive robust vehicle launches. You will analyze customer claims, perform technical deep dives, and ensure cost-effective, well-documented repair cycles.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and TOP HAT Quality Manager is essential. Required are 8+ years of automotive EE experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of PLM/Quantic/Enovia tools.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience in automotive EE.
  • Strong knowledge of EE vehicle architecture, systems, and component requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and STLA tools (PLM, Quantic, Enovia, Team Center).
  • Excellent written and spoken English with solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and consolidate EE quality, contributing to issue resolution and robust vehicle launches.
  • Improve Quality Standard, Quality Design Process, and grant expected application.
  • Perform project reviews and analyze customer claims for root causes.
  • Conduct technical deep dives based on facts and figures to drive solutions.
  • Ensure cost-efficient repair cycles and robust action plans with no deviations.
  • Collaborate with TOP HAT Quality Manager on status, tracking, and deliverables.
  • Promote DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Risk Management improvements.
  • Lead lessons-learned activities and define best practices for programs.

Job description

Main Mission:
  • Deliver and consolidate EE Quality, contributing strongly to Quality issue resolution and robust Vehicle launches
  • Improve Quality Standard, Quality Design Process and grant expected application
Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Project review animations
  • Analyze “customer claim”
  • Technical detail deep dive, with approach based on facts and figures, stimulating the rigorous problemsolving approach
  • Drive the most effective and efficient technical solution, with the most optimized cost repair cycle
  • Guarantee a robust action plan, without deviations
  • Be always align with TOP HAT Quality Manager (Quality status, Issue tracking, Deliverablesachievement)
  • Improve and assess the following Q Processes: DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Risk Management
  • Drive proactively lessons-learned activities.
  • Grant Lesson Learned and Best Practice definition and improvement, ensure application in current andfuture programs
  • Promote the adoption of best practices, standard templates and harmonized documentation approaches.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • EE technical automotive background with knowledge of EE vehicle architecture, EE System/ Subsystem,EE Component requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to work using different STLA tools: PLM, Quantic, Lesson Learned, Bulletin, Team Center, Enovia
  • Team working skill, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills
  • Problem Solving and Issue Management skill
