Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a highly motivated QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance Department in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure food safety and quality compliance while fostering strong relationships with internal and external customers.

You will develop and validate QA processes, address BRCGS deviations, mentor production teams, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. Strong leadership, technical knowledge, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; manufacturing sector preferred.
• 5–10 years in a manufacturing environment with team leadership.
• Experience in metal packaging production, specifically 2-piece aluminum beverage cans preferred.
• Exposure to audits and implementation of quality programs.
• Proven track record of managing individuals.
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, GMPs and ISO.

Responsibilities

• Develop, verify, and validate QA processes for materials, production, and finished goods to meet regs and customer requirements.
• Address BRCGS deviations promptly and mentor production personnel.
• Provide products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Act as HARA Team Leader and drive plant improvements.
• Communicate with Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Operations and provide timely data and analysis.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and monitor industry trends for continuous improvement.
