Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a QA Supervisor for a specialty food and packaging client. You will supervise QA and QC activities, lead a team of QC technicians, and drive corrective actions to improve quality outcomes in a high-volume facility.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 5 years QA/Food manufacturing experience, HACCP and GMP knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years related experience or training; equivalent combination acceptable.
• Five years of experience in QC/Food in a manufacturing environment; direct reports preferred.
• Technical understanding of food safety including HACCP and GMP operations.
• Ability to apply basic statistical concepts to problem solving and root cause analysis; proficient with spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication; excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Quality Control activities based on production needs and contingencies.
• Oversee non-conformance management; identify, quarantine, track, and resolve issues with follow-up.
• Support production verification by supervising QC technicians reviewing operator reports and records before release of products.
• Lead training and onboarding for QC technicians; identify training needs and ensure quality requirements are understood.
• Respond to contingencies through problem-solving and technical decisions, including recipe adjustments and pH corrections; drive continuous improvement.
