Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Construction QA/QC Specialist to assist Superintendents and Project Managers in delivering mission-critical projects in Illinois. You will ensure quality from inception through turnover and support QA/QC plans with field inspections and documentation.

Candidates should have 1+ years in construction management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Procore, AutoDesk, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet. Travel and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil/structural engineering or construction management.
• Experience with QA/QC in construction preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong communication with trade partners and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in project completion.
• Support QA/QC plans and field inspections for projects.
• Coordinate third-party testing and inspections.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with specs.
• Document QA/QC records and track deficiencies and corrective actions.
