Job summary

Clarios, LLC in Canby, Oregon (near Portland) seeks a Quality Manager to lead QA for product operations, driving continuous improvement and standardization across plants. You will train staff, apply statistical analyses, and represent the plant with customers and suppliers during escalations.

The role emphasizes implementing quality systems, audits, and ISO/TS-16949 aligned processes, while ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clear and concise information.
• Ability to multitask, manage projects and build cohesive teams.
• Able to work all shifts and hours as required.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and build trust with an hourly manufacturing workforce.

Responsibilities

• Direct QA efforts for product operations to identify and solve quality problems.
• Train staff and apply analytical/statistical analyses to achieve quality results.
• Represent plants in front of customers and suppliers when escalation is needed.
• Coordinate containment actions and share best practices across plants.
• Drive standardization of processes and quality tools across Product Operations.
• Plan and direct quality and continuous improvement activities within the facility.
• Develop, implement and manage systems to drive quality behavior and discipline.
