Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and mechanical inspection/layouts for development or product validation.
• Maintain PFMEA / Control Plan / Process Flow / ECRs under the direction of an engineer.
• Collaborate with Engineering on customer concerns and production part quality issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement on the shop floor (Shainin / 8D / 5Y) under supervision.
• Perform experiments and aid in statistical analysis of results under engineer guidance.
• Assist in operator training on new and existing products.
• Assist in development of control charts and limits.
• Initiate PPAP / Prototype documentation.
• Develop appearance reports under guidance of the product engineer.
• Assist with metrology efforts for new and current products (gage design and selection).
