Job description

Join to apply for the Quality Engineering Technician role at VEGA Americas, Inc.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Responding to production or customer needs by troubleshooting and resolving quality issues, documenting resolutions and corrective actions.
  2. Coordinating customer inspections and facilitating testing and certification for orders.
  3. Validating controlled processes such as welding, soldering, and painting, including cross-sectioning welds and testing adhesion.
  4. Performing or assisting with inspection tasks, including use of CMM and Niton Analyzer.
  5. Calibrating in-house test equipment and supporting calibration of gauging.
  6. Monitoring scrap levels and conducting pareto and corrective actions analysis.
  7. Maintaining and revising process documentation to support quality improvements.
  8. Analyzing key quality performance data and recommending improvements.
  9. Facilitating internal problem resolution through the Corrective Action system.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in a Technical field or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
