Job description

What you'll do:



  • Respond to the immediate needs of production or the customer by troubleshooting and assisting with problem-solving and quality concern resolution (5-whys; Cause/effect diagrams; etc.). Document problem resolutions and corrective actions.

  • Coordinate customer inspections and facilitate testing and certification of orders as required for customer orders.

  • Perform or coordinate validation of controlled processes, such as welding, soldering, painting, etc. This would include cross-sectioning of welds and solders, testing the adhesion of paint, and monitoring in-process inspections in Production.

  • Assist in accomplishing in-process, final, and vendor inspection tasks as required, including inspection of the product, including use of the CMM and Niton Analyzer.

  • Coordinate or perform calibration of in-house test equipment, such as the CMM, Niton Analyzer, and test benches. Support the Quality Coordinator with the calibration of gauging.

  • Monitor and help control scrap; including pareto and corrective action analysis.

  • Revise and maintain process documentation to support quality improvement, such as test forms, work instructions, and procedures.

  • Measure and analyze key quality performance data; make recommendations on specific opportunities to improve quality.

  • Facilitate resolution and communication of internal problems identified through LifeLines (Corrective Action system).


What you need:



  • Associates Degree in Technical field.

  • AND two years related experience

  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
