DescriptionJoin a team of professionals where you will be responsible for ensuring that the outgoing product for assigned parts/customers meets all contractual requirements in a manner that supports cost-effective on-time product deliveries. This role also involves documenting, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes.

- Supporting inspection and production groups in selecting and using appropriate measurement methods and tools.
- Supporting Manufacturing Engineer (ME) and Quality Engineer (QE) in reviewing and verifying inspection reports to ensure all required drawing elements are captured.
- Supporting on-site customer source inspection activities with all necessary inspection and documentation evidence packages.
- Inputting key product characteristic (KPC) data in a timely manner using customer-based software.
- Maintaining input and reporting progress of all related customer-based KPC management forms.
- Acting as a liaison for electronic quality notification (EQN) activities and data concerns to customers.
- Monitoring and maintaining progress on internal nonconformance reports (NCR) and manufacturing review board (MRB) activities.
- Monitoring and maintaining all pre-production approval processes (UPPAP), potential failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA), and first article inspection (FAI) documentation.
- Assisting with and monitoring all quality-related documents and their revisions (internal and external) into Intelex.
- Designing and implementing standard work and LEAN manufacturing practices.
- Collaborating with Corporate statistical process control (SPC) to monitor critical-to-quality features and in-process controls.
Bring Your Expertise:
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related engineering field; related experience can substitute for degree requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
- DCC CMM experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Basic understanding of CAD software (Mastercam preferred) and blade analysis software. Experience with OpenDMIS and Modus is a plus.
- Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra as applied to mechanical and CMM measurements.
- Must maintain adequate near vision through annual testing (per Work Instruction WIQA.05).
- Physical ability to lift and carry 25 lbs or more and stand for extended periods.
