Job description

Our Client, a Business Solutions company, is looking for an IT Systems Engineering Specialist for their Memphis, TN/Remote location.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in installing and maintaining operations systems, application software, and system management tools, including monitoring installed IT systems, cloud, and network infrastructure. Provide network level verification and security to the IT organization and track system alerts and notifications.
2. Assist in installing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Monitor installed systems and infrastructure for the organization. Support security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention. Provide remote access solutions support: VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix, Hyper-V. Develop and maintain IT documentation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred).
2. Five (5) years of experience implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure or equivalent education and experience.
3. Knowledge of Cloud-based applications, preferably Azure, and virtualization and containerization technologies.
4. Knowledge of Networking (OSI layers, TCP/IP).
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
6. Strong organizational skills.
7. Ability to create comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet or exceed performance competencies.
