Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology is seeking a Quality Engineering Supervisor to lead the Quality Control laboratory operations in Niagara Falls, NY. You will oversee personnel, establish inspection and testing procedures, ensure equipment calibration, and drive measurement system analysis across manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 4–6 years in a manufacturing quality environment, with strong SPC/MSA knowledge, CAPA experience, and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related technical discipline.
• 4–6 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality role.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong background in SPC, MSA, and statistical quality tools.
• Experience with customer complaint handling and CAPA systems.
• Ability to multi-task is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Control laboratory operations, personnel and workflows.
• Establish inspection, testing, and verification procedures for in-process and finished products.
• Ensure calibration of lab and inspection equipment.
• Lead measurement system analysis programs across processes.
• Train personnel on measurement techniques and SPC systems.
• Support customer audits and regulatory/compliance inspections.
• Own and manage the CAPA process for timely corrective actions.
