Generac Power Systems Inc. seeks a Corporate Quality – Quality Engineering Specialist III to transform QMS data into actionable insights that drive product quality and operational excellence.

You will design Power BI dashboards, work with NC/CAPA, supplier quality, audits, and document control, and enable data-driven decisions across the enterprise. The role partners with cross-functional teams, requiring strong analytics, SQL/Python/Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate required.
• 7+ years of data analytics and Power BI experience.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience supporting project-based initiatives.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards for manufacturing, quality, service, or operational metrics.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• QMS data integration and governance across NC/CAPA, supplier quality, audits, customer issues, document management, CRM platforms, data warehouses, and cloud-based systems.
• Quality analytics and decision support to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Power BI reporting and KPI visualization for quality metrics.
• Automation and predictive insights using BI tools and AI-driven analytics.
• Mentor and support team development; travel up to 10%.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to develop analytics, reporting, and dashboards across NC/CAPA, supplier quality, audit management, customer issue resolution, and document control processes. Reporting to the Corporate Director, Quality Systems and Compliance, this individual plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.Major Responsibilities:QMS Data Integration and Governance: Manage and optimize quality data from enterprise systems including NC/CAPA, supplier quality, audits, customer issues, document management, CRM platforms, data warehouses, and cloud-based systems to ensure accurate and actionable reporting.Quality Analytics and Decision Support: Analyze quality data to identify trends, risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
