Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in the field or related area.
• NDE Level II Qualification or Technical degree preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient CAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• General knowledge of dimensional inspection tools and methods.
• General knowledge of CAD/CAM machining program development.
• General knowledge of database storage of information.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret technical drawings including characteristics such as views, title blocks, dimensioning, tolerancing, GD&T symbols.
• Interpret customer specification requirements in relation to acceptance of product and/or process characteristics.
• Define/Create/Maintain/Review inspection record sheets for all inspection methods used at VHY.
• Review inspection methods and records to verify that they are being performed in accordance with VHY process procedures.
• Review updates in national/international inspection specifications and verify VHY written process procedures are incompliance with the update(s). When changes are required recommend/implement revisions to the procedures to comply with updates.
• Review updates in VH Group inspection standards for compliance with VHY customer specification requirements.
• Support the QC function to document discrepancies in SAP notifications and ensure timely disposition in SAP.
• Review/audit manufacturing component progress and operation/PRS status and out-of-sequence work.
• Train/support personnel on the SAP notification process and Quality processes.
• Analyze manufacturing data to assess trends, predict future outcomes, and monitor improvement.
