Practice Fusion is seeking a passionate Quality Engineering Manager dedicated to creating life-saving technology for doctors and patients. This role involves individual contributions (test development and execution), process and procedure management, and people management.

Responsibilities

• As a manager:
  • Establish performance goals for team members
  • Provide regular constructive feedback and address performance issues promptly
  • Recognize high performers to motivate and retain key talent
  • Implement development plans and coaching for team members
  • Create and foster team spirit
  • Induct new joiners to maximize their performance
  • Allocate workload to utilize employee talents and growth potential
• Participate in defining, leading, and auditing quality initiatives as needed
• Use and report on quality metrics regularly
• Lead or participate in standards-based compliance or process improvement efforts

Direct Management

• Manage Quality Engineering team members

Individual Contributor Tasks

• Develop automation for REST web services using C#
• Utilize SQL for database verification and functional testing
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve frameworks, methodologies, and processes
• Participate in Agile development, including requirements analysis and test planning
• Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing; analyze root causes and report bugs
• Work with engineering and support teams to identify and resolve defects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 8+ years of Quality Engineering experience, including Agile, test automation, build/release procedures, defect analysis
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability in Test Engineering
