Overview

Practice Fusion is seeking a passionate Quality Engineering Manager to create life-saving technology for doctors and patients. This role involves individual contributions (test development/execution), process management, and people management.

Responsibilities
  • As a manager:
    • Set performance goals for team members
    • Provide regular performance feedback and address issues promptly
    • Recognize high performers to motivate and retain talent
    • Develop and coach team members to reach their potential
    • Foster team spirit and induct new members effectively
    • Allocate workload to maximize talent and growth
  • Define, lead, and audit quality initiatives as appropriate
  • Report on quality metrics regularly
  • Lead compliance and process improvement efforts
  • Manage Quality Engineering team members
As an individual contributor
  • Develop automation for REST web services using C#
  • Utilize SQL for database verification and automation
  • Collaborate on frameworks, methodologies, and processes for quality management
  • Participate in Agile development, including requirements analysis and test planning
  • Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing, with root cause analysis
  • Work with teams to identify, log, and resolve defects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualifications and memberships preferred
Experience
  • 8+ years in Quality Engineering, including:
    • Agile development
    • Test automation and coding
    • Build/release procedures
    • Defect analysis and root cause
  • Leadership and mentoring experience in Test Engineering
