Position Overview

Practice Fusion is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager passionate about creating life-saving technology for doctors and patients. This role combines individual contributions (test development and execution), process management, and people management.

Responsibilities
  • As a manager:
    • Set performance goals for team members
    • Provide regular performance feedback and address issues promptly
    • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain talent
    • Implement development plans and coaching
    • Create and foster team spirit
    • Induct new joiners for quick ramp-up
    • Allocate workload to maximize talent and growth
  • As a team leader:
    • Define, lead, and audit quality initiatives
    • Report on quality metrics
    • Lead compliance and process improvement efforts
    • Manage Quality Engineering team members
  • As an individual contributor:
    • Develop automation tests in C# for REST web services
    • Use SQL for database verification and automation
    • Collaborate to improve frameworks, methodologies, and processes
    • Participate in Agile development, including requirements analysis and test planning
    • Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing; analyze defects; produce bug reports
    • Work with engineers and support teams to identify and resolve defects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications and memberships preferred
Experience
  • 8+ years in Quality Engineering, including:
  • Agile development, test automation, coding, build/release procedures, defect analysis
  • Leadership and mentorship in Test Engineering
