Northrop Grumman in Oxnard, CA seeks a Quality Engineer Manager – Level 2 to lead quality engineering efforts for critical programs. The role emphasizes establishing and sustaining quality systems, overseeing inspections, and guiding teams to meet program goals on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

The position requires a Top-Secret clearance eligibility, extensive QMS experience, and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and QA to drive quality, cost, and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP) and government standards.
• Ability to communicate, manage and achieve site tactical and strategic goals for the assigned value stream.
• Understanding of quality KPIs and implementation of process improvements based on metrics.

Responsabilités

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
• Devises methods for inspecting, testing and evaluating products and equipment.
• Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
• Facilitates root cause determination and resolves quality issues including NC/CA/EIDP.
