Moog is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager for its East Aurora, NY site within the Military Aircraft Group. You will lead the Quality Engineering function for Electronic Operations and report to the Site Electronic Operations Director, with an onsite schedule in Buffalo/East Aurora area.

You will drive product and process quality, develop a high-performing team, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and lead continuous improvement with cross-functional partners across supply chain,

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 7+ years in engineering, quality, or manufacturing in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, statistical methods, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, and other quality improvement methodologies.

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Establish and achieve quality objectives, including COPQ reduction and NPI readiness.
• Partner with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to improve product quality.
• Drive proactive quality initiatives and risk mitigation across operations and supplier base.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, government, and company requirements.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Provide training in DOE, SPC, and statistical methods.
• Develop inspection and quality control plans aligned with risk.
• Build relationships with customers and regulatory agencies including FAA.
• Coordinate quality activities across functions and represent Quality in audits.
• Manage department operating and capital budgets.
