Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC team at our West Falls facility. You will ensure products meet regulatory, customer, and internal requirements, and drive a right-first-time quality culture.

The role requires 7+ years of AS9100-regulated manufacturing quality experience, a engineering degree, and strong leadership, with exposure to FAI, MSA, CMM, and APQP methodologies. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, manufacturing, technology, or similar discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant quality experience in AS9100-regulated manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of quality tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC).
• Familiarity with inspection equipment and measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC team; set priorities aligned to business needs.
• Drive a quality culture and compliance with the quality management system; promote right first-time.
• Develop, maintain and enforce QC procedures, inspection plans and sampling methods.
• Oversee First Article Inspection (AS9102) processes and documentation for FAI completeness.
• Ensure calibration and measurement system control (MSA/Gage R&R) and oversee inspection equipment.
• Monitor key quality metrics; drive improvement projects.
• Lead root cause analyses and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Coordinate customer and regulatory audits; ensure AS9100 compliance.
