Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation in Serbia seeks a Quality Engineering Manager to define and drive the QA strategy across products, leading QA Automation Engineers and QA Architects while partnering with Engineering, Product, Architecture and DevOps to embed quality from the start.

You will mentor teams, advance AI-assisted testing, improve test frameworks, and ensure scalable, reliable delivery in a continuous delivery environment with trunk-based development and frequent releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading QA across multiple projects and teams, both offshore and in-house.
Strong leadership in QA processes, standards and strategy.
Experience with functional and non-functional testing in Agile/SDLC environments.
Proven test automation, CI/CD integration and modern testing practices.
Mentoring QA Automation Engineers, QA Architects and QA Engineers.

Responsibilities

Define and continuously improve Quality Engineering strategy and execution across projects.
Provide technical leadership in Quality Engineering, Test Automation and Software Testing.
Lead, mentor and develop QA teams across development teams and ensure ownership and accountability for quality.
Drive AI-assisted testing adoption and scalable test automation frameworks.
Ensure QA practices align with CI/CD, trunk-based development and rapid release cycles.
Analyze quality metrics and risk, report insights to stakeholders.
