Job summary

CI&T seeks a Senior QA Automation to join our Brazil team. You will enhance software quality through automated testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.

You will design test strategies, implement automation, and ensure best QA practices throughout the SDLC, STLC, and Agile processes in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Jira, or similar.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, Pytest or similar.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Continuously improve test processes and automation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform back-end testing to validate API and server-side components or responses.
