Job summary

Acloché LLC in the Fremont area, CA is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineering Manager to lead our quality organization on-site. You will own quality metrics, drive customer quality improvements, and partner with manufacturing to ensure robust QA across PCBA and box-build processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of EMS QA, 3+ years of leadership, and deep knowledge of ISO 9001/13485, AS9100, and IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of quality experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
• Minimum 3 years of quality leadership or management experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PCBA and Box Build manufacturing.
• Proven customer-facing quality management experience, including customer escalations, audits, and complaint resolution.
• Strong expertise in root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA, and corrective action programs
• Experience supporting SMT, Through-Hole, Functional Test, Final Inspection, and NPI processes
• Knowledge of quality systems and compliance, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and IATF 16949.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, defect reduction, yield improvement, and reducing scrap/rework
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop quality engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate will be hands-on quality leader from an EMS/PCBA manufacturing environment who can manage customer quality, lead a quality engineering team, and drive measurable improvements in manufacturing quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor the QA team to achieve targets and improve processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing and customers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and monitor QA metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
