Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks a Quality Engineering Manager in the Fremont area, CA, to lead a hands-on quality team in a 100% onsite, full-time role. You will own quality processes, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with EMS manufacturing standards.

Bring 8+ years in EMS quality, 3+ years in leadership, plus PCBA and Box Build experience. You will lead 8D/CAPA, root-cause analysis, audits, and continuous improvement to cut defects, scrap, and rework while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of quality experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
• Minimum 3 years of quality leadership or management experience.
• Hands-on experience with PCBA and Box Build manufacturing
• Customer-facing quality management experience, including customer escalations, audits, and complaint resolution.
• Strong expertise in root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA, and corrective action programs
• Experience supporting SMT, Through-Hole, Functional Test, Final Inspection, and NPI processes
• Knowledge of quality systems and compliance, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and IATF 16949.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, defect reduction, yield improvement, and reducing scrap/rework
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop quality engineering teams

Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000

Key Requirements

1. Minimum 8 years of quality experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.


2. Minimum 3 years of quality leadership or management experience.


3. Strong hands-on experience with **PCBA and Box Build manufacturing


4. Proven customer-facing quality management experience, including customer escalations, audits, and complaint resolution.


5. Strong expertise in root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA, and corrective action programs


6. Experience supporting SMT, Through-Hole, Functional Test, Final Inspection, and NPI processes
